For those that race their UTV it is a requirement to wear a helmet. Being as races are typically in the desert, drivers being sweating immediately. A common method of cooling the driver, most known in NASCAR vehicles, an air pump is connected to ducting to bring fresh air into the vehicle.
This method allows air to flow directly to the driver’s helmet. Utilizing this same concept, PCI Race Radios developed a fresh air pump system to provide cooling to the driver’s helmet. The kit consists of a pump with a large filter and particle catch, variable speed dial, remote switch, wiring/mounting hardware, and two hoses.

Offering a four and five-foot hose prevents the driver’s head from being constrained with a short hose. There are various mounting options available to accompany any roll cage size. This gives drivers the freedom of mounting the unit in the most convenient spot without limiting positioning.
The pump features a variable speed brushless motor along with a control dial for optimal cooling when desired. Installation of this kit is made easy as everything needed is provided to properly mount and wire the system. Just provide 12v power to the unit and route the wiring for the included on/off rocker switch and variable dial.
