The VR Aero Carbon Fiber Front Lip and Rear Diffuser are made to fit and take your Porsche Taycan’s aesthetics to another level, as seen in these photos taken by our client from Norway who is the owner of the Porsche Taycan Modifications Facebook Group. The lip spoiler installed on his Porsche Taycan was designed to flow with the body lines while giving that extra aggressiveness to the front end. In contrast, the rear diffuser is designed to flow with the body lines while giving extra aggressiveness and a sexier stance to the rear end. In his modification, he decided to paint the aero pieces black; however, the front lip and the rear diffuser are full carbon fiber, manufactured from pre-preg materials that have a glossy finish.
Apart from giving your Taycan a sporty, aggressive look, front spoilers, which are attached to the bottom of the front bumper and extend downward, are designed to create a barrier between the high-pressure air found in the front of the vehicle and the low-pressure air found underneath. This helps to reduce the amount of drag on the front of the vehicle, allowing it to move more efficiently through the air. As you can see, the protrusion from VR Aero front lip gives a wildly exotic supercar finish that isn’t delivered from the factory.
Rear diffusers, on the other hand, are attached to the underside of the rear bumper and extend downward. They work by accelerating the flow of air under the vehicle, which creates a low-pressure area that helps to reduce lift and increase downforce. This helps to improve the vehicle’s stability and handling, particularly at high speeds. As seen in the photos below, the rear diffuser gives an established and lower appearance to the rear end of the car. Aside from the performance aspect, this gives the Taycan a beautiful finish truly should be experienced in person!
