Product Overview: Turbonetics Turbo Kit for Camaro SS 10-13

When it comes to LS-powered vehicles, a lot of peoples go the naturally aspirated route, as a simple cam will make a ton of power. Unfortunately, a larger cam has a few drawbacks; the biggest is typically a drop in low-end torque. Most mods that drastically increase top end power will have to sacrifice low-end torque unless you go to a forced induction setup. With forced induction, you can maintain all that low-end torque and add top-end torque. Of course, there are two options: supercharged or turbocharged, and each option has its pros and cons. Today, we’re looking at one of the most popular Camaro SS turbo kits on the market from Turbonetics.

With this Turbonetics turbo kit, your Camaro SS will jump from 426 horsepower to 614 horsepower at a mere 8psi of boost. This is a tiny amount of boost which means you have lots of room to crank the power up, but that low amount of boost also greatly improves long-term reliability. Unlike some other kits on the market, this kit comes with everything you need for install including a handheld tuner, no cutting, fabrication, or custom tuning necessary.
Main Features

  • T76 Ceramic Ball Bearing turbo
  • Spearco Front Mount Air to Air Intercooler
  • 2 Evolution 35mm external wastegates
  • Turbonetics Duo 35 by pass valve
  • Diablo hand held ECU re-flash tool
  • All exhaust and intake plumbing
  • All mounting hardware included
  • 50 state emissions legal (certification pending)

Installation can be completed in and estimated 8 – 12 hrs with standard mechanics tools. No modifications to chassis required – no cutting or splicing of electrical components. Adds 188 Horsepower to the stock engine – 614 crankshaft Horsepower (578 ft/lb) at a safe 8psi of boost. To achieve comparable power levels with superchargers, the required boost levels are significantly higher, putting more strain on internal engine components. The Turbonetics kit delivers the additional power in a safe and reliable manner for years to come.
