There is no denying that Range Rover makes some of the best luxury SUVs on the market. Even the small Range Rover Evoque packs an insane amount of features for the price. Unfortunately, the convertible model lacks decent controls for the convertible top. If you want to open or close the top outside the vehicle quickly, you can’t. You have to unlock it, get inside, then hold the button down, and then go. Luckily, there are now solutions on the market to fix this problem. SmartTOP has been developing convertible top solutions for a massive array of different vehicles, and they have finally set their sights on the Range Rover Evoque.
What this control module allows you to do, is control the windows and convertible top from outside the vehicle. On top of being able to control the top from outside the vehicle, controlling it from inside becomes even easier, as SmartTOP owners only need to tap the interior button once and the roof opens or closes automatically. There are also options which make it possible to open or close the top by touching the door handle. All of these options are configured through your PC and then uploaded to your SmartTOP control module via USB cable.
Although you may not currently think about selling your Evoque, you likely will sell it one day, and modifications don’t add value to used vehicles (for the most part), so uninstalling the control module and selling it separately is the ideal way to go.
