Even though the Tundra TRD Pro is the pinnacle off-road machine from Toyota, its primarily used for driving and hauling on the streets.  When headed out on the weekends to tow your dirt bikes, drift car, or UTV, it is definitely not a Porsche Cayenne on the twisty roads.  So to make this beast grip the corners, we added the factory TRD rear sway bar.  The sway bar is a MUST have for those Tundra drivers that are doing more than just off-roading.  The handling is immensely improved over stock.  Coming from sports cars and performance SUVs this is a must!  You actually begin to have confidence in driving fast without worrying.  The installation on the TRD sway bar is straight forward.  In fact this was done not at the shop and not on a lift, but at home in about 1 hour.  Check out the installation photos below.  Want to order the TRD Rear Sway Bar for your Tundra?  Shop Here.

Vivid Racing sells TRD products and many other suspension parts to make your Truck or SUV handle better.  Visit our Suspension Store Here and then select your vehicle.

did you have to level or lift the front to fit the te37?

    Hey, Dan.

I’ve not seen a lot of Tundras with the TRD off-road suspension and the sway bar installed. I was really thinking of doing the same. I drive mostly highway, but occasionally offroad (pastures for fishing and getting to hunting spots), so I had convinced myself it would be a beneficial setup to have both. Have you been happy and are you seeing enough benefits from both items to justify having both installed?

    thanks,
    Eric

Hey Eric! Mine is a TRD Pro so I already had the TRD suspension. Would not know how the regular one feels but I love mine. Most of my weekend trip driving is up to Northern Arizona on twisty highways and the sway bar really made the truck feel stable, even when towing. So I definitely like the rear sway bar. Even when driving on some flat dirt roads to go dirt biking, it feels fine. Im sure if I was doing some serious offroading where I needed the flex, I would remove it. Another option might be going with the Icon Suspension kit that would give you more adjustability. https://www.vividracing.com/index.php?keywords=Tundra+coilover

I really appreciate the feedback and quick response. Thanks for the tip on the ICONs.
