Every UTV owner knows the struggle of being in the middle of sending it and the CVT belt snaps. It can be time-consuming and frustrating to have to replace the belt on the go. The task of replacing the belt consists of holding the clutch open with a wrench, slipping the belt over the clutch, and rotating at the same time which can be hard to do when each hand is being used for different things.

 

PRP developed a tool to assist in changing the belt faster on the Polaris RZR. The tool simply bolts onto the secondary clutch which holds it open without the need to manually do it yourself. By having the freedom of both your hands it makes putting the belt around the gears much easier.

 

With the tool bolted on, it also gives a little extra leverage when spinning the clutch to wigging the belt on. Removal is as easy as unthreading the single bolt holding the clutch open. For installation on 2011+ XP 900, 2014-15 XP 1000 vehicles use the skinny end or for the 2016+ XP 1000 use the wider end.
