With the purchase of any new vehicle many enthusiasts don’t waste time modifying it. The new 2020 Model 3 Tesla is a fantastic display of brilliant engineering but is modeled to be a consumer’s car. Meaning, the sleek body lines, and flush door handles are appealing, but the ride height and wheel choice are atrocious.
Most people would think aftermarket support is nonexistent for such a vehicle you could see a grandma driving. That is where these people are highly mistaken. The aftermarket community recognized the technology and potential these vehicles had packing from the gate.
One way we completely transformed the look of this Model 3 is by installing a set of RF7 Brixton Forged Wheels. A set of Eibach lowering springs were used to bring the right height down, slightly closing the massive wheel gap. Being that this is a daily driver, the Eibach springs were enough to lower the vehicle without compromising ride quality.
The performance-oriented split-spoke design of the RF7’s blend well with the smooth body. With the forged construction, the RF7 offers a lightweight wheel to allow the immediate power of the Tesla motor to transfer to the ground. To keep the wheels gripping the road, a set of Falken Tires 285/30/20 rear and 245/35/20 front were installed.
