The pins allow for owners to release the sway bar end links from the chassis providing 100% independence from each side.
Since the sway bar can be disconnected, drivers are able to decide when it is needed rather than bringing tools just to release the bar. These end links will work with the factory electronic sway bar release. Being that electronics can sometimes fail, it is still a good option to run these links to provide a backup option in case of a failure.
