Its inevitable that you will break or shred a belt on your UTV and especially with the high horsepower of the Can-Am X3 Turbo. Getting the clutch cover off with a phillips head screwdriver 1 at a time can be a pain in the arse. To make swapping belts easier in a hurry, Agency Power has this clutch cover quick release pin kit available. Much like any pin kit for any product, you simply pull the pin! Each kit includes enough hardware to install the pin kit to your X3. You thread in the post to the vehicle side in place of the screws. Then each steel wire that the pin connects to is riveted in place. This allows you to easily pull the pin and not lose it. The clutch cover slides easily on and off the posts to easily access the belt.
The install is a little tedious and the posts thread pitch is different, so make sure you put them in dead straight or you will have to adjust the angle so the cover slides over. When riveting the steel wire to the cover, make sure to do it with just enough slack so you have no issue putting the pins in or pulling them off. Once its done, changing that belt will go so much quicker. Just make sure you have your OEM Can-Am tool with you at all times!
