When the new B9 generation of Audi A4/S5 was released it was instantly labeled as a driver’s car with a touch of luxury. It was only a matter of time before owners began the modification process. Being that older Audi’s are well known for getting the most out of each upgrade, manufacturers cut to the chase on developing new parts.
Quicksilver took the time to put their expertise together and engineered an exhaust system that wakes up the turbocharged engine under the hood. The main issue with the factory exhaust is that it restricts the turbo which prevents any power to be made efficiently. Most owners will modify their turbocharged vehicles since they have tons of potential.
This exhaust system eliminates any restrictions within the exhaust allowing the throaty tone to be amplified. Being that these vehicles utilize a DSG transmission, upgrading the exhaust will enhance the distinct burble sound while shifting. To prevent raspiness, Quicksilver incorporated a Helmholtz resonator.
Constructed of T304 stainless steel this system offers secondary cat replacement pipes for RHD and LHD models. This system also features a valve control system to allow the driver to control the exhaust tone. Once the valve is open, there is no restriction on the left side of the exhaust giving the car an aggressive tone.
