When it comes to luxury SUVs, there are only a few manufacturers consumers look at, and if you want something that is also very capable off-road, there is only one option: Range Rover. The Range Rover Sport is already a very nice vehicle inside and out, but if you want the best of the best, you need the AutoBiography. With more luxury features comes more weight, and with more weight, you need more power. 510 horsepower is a decent amount, but with how heavy the Range Rover Sport AutoBiography is, it’s not quite enough. Luckily, this can easily be fixed with the help of a tune.
With a tune, you can adjust parameters such as boost, air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, throttle response, torque limiters, and more. By changing these parameters, you can make the engine run more aggressively and ultimately make more power. In the case for the L320 Range Rover Sport, our VR Tuned ECU Flash takes the supercharged 5.0L V8 from 510HP | 461FT/LB to 556HP | 513FT/LB. Of course, with additional modifications such as an aftermarket intake and exhaust, these gains are even greater. Thanks to the supercharged nature of this engine, the power gains can be felt throughout the entire power band, making your Range Rover faster at any RPM.
