Innovation has been a strong point of Rays Engineering this year. With the release of the TE037 Dura and now with another advancement in light weight wheels, the TE37 SAGA, this year started off great for the company. The TE37 has been a favored forged 6 spoke wheel in the Motorsport industry for years. They have done several variations and updated fitments and sizing, but overall the wheel has stayed pretty much identical to its earlier models.
The TE37 SAGA breathes new life into the traditional TE37. They have incorporated anti-tire slip knurling to the bead area in order to prevent tire from coming unseated. There are now logos machined into the outside edge of the wheel. But the most important update to the wheel mass reduction or pocketing to the back of the wheel. They are able to take extra mass out of spokes to lighten up the wheel. Any true enthusiast knows that a lighter wheel = less un sprung mass = better performance.
These wheels will be available spring 2017. Made in Japan. Available in Diamond Dark Gunmetal or Bronze Almite. Air valves are included, Center caps are sold separately.
