Remus has just announced the launch of their new sport exhaust system for the BMW M240i/M140i. The B58 straight 6 turbo motor equipped in these vehicles is just begging for added noise and less restriction. Using stainless steel, Remus is able to create a more free flowing system that improves exhaust note and lets the car breathe better. The introduction of valves allows this system to be operated with the factory valve control / sport mode which varies noise based on engine RPMS. One unique option is that there are quite a few different exhaust tips which allows for added customization. We are excited to announce the release of the Remus Sport Exhaust for the BMW F20/F21/F22 M140i and M240i. This is being offered as an axle back, sport cat back and racing cat back. Please note that the axle back and cat back part numbers are the same but the tip options are different for the two. The M140i has special tips that are slightly smaller than the M240i and are specific for the M140i as you can see in the below pictures
This is a left/right, dual tip, valved system with a choice of either 98MM or 102MM tips. The activation of the valve is carried out using the original actuator via the on-board electronics.
