Rennline is one of the bigger names in the Porsche aftermarket, and for a good reason. Back in 2015, they released their tunable engine mounts which have been a massive hit for 964, 993, 986, 996, 987, and 997 Porsche owners. Unfortunately, 991 owners have been left in the dark up until now. Rennline heard the requests for 991 engine mounts, and they have finally delivered. The whole idea behind these mounts is to decrease engine movement, and by reducing the movement, you will end up with better acceleration and handling, as the engine will no longer by upsetting the chassis with unexpected movement.
The mounts are built from CNC machined billet aluminum and include three sets of inserts in varying densities. If you find the mounts to be too aggressive and harsh, you can swap to the softer inserts. If you find the mounts to be too soft, you can easily swap to the stiffer inserts. You can even mix and match, giving you nine possible combinations to let you dial in the mount to your specifications. This adjustability is especially important if you’ve increased the power of your 991, as the mounts are designed to deal with specific amounts of torque, and exceeding that amount can cause excessive engine movement.
