Sparco is known for designing and engineering some of the most advanced sports seats around. After all, they were the ones that developed the first-ever adjustable carbon fiber seat for super cars in 1998 like the Lamborghini Diablo. Since then, supercar manufacturers, including Bugatti, have used Spaco’s designs and technology in their cars.

In light of all their success, Spaco has released a new type of seat called the SPX. This smooth leather seat is handcrafted in Italy and utilizes the same technology and materials that are used for OEM supercars. The Alcantara suede center allows you to gain absolute control of your car and enhance your experience behind the wheel. The SPX represents the ultimate evolution of the sport seat – with performance and comfort combined. It is the first lightweight carbon fiber reclining seat available to the public that meets the same specifications required by OEM manufacturers. With the ergonomic shape of the carbon fiber backrest and seating position of the RTM composite lower, this seat hugs the driver during extreme lateral forces and is great for long trips.

To give the SPX seat the ultimate performance look, all hand stitching is done in tone-on-tone black with the Sparco logo embroidered in black to match. The gloss finished carbon fiber backrest features a leather pull strap which releases the backrest to fold forward, granting you access to a backseat or storage area. The backrest also features a micro adjustment knob that allows you to dial in the perfect driving position.

Feedback from Sparco Rep: “The seat is called the SPX. It is based on our seat that we make for some of the OEM super cars. This is the same exact seat that is used in the new 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia, 2017 Lotus Evora, and the new Koenigsegg coming out. For each of those manufacturers, the headrest is designed unique for the application. Here is a review of the new Alfa Romeo, where he said the seat and driving position is excellent!”

SPX Part Numbers:

• 00974ZNRSX – SEAT SPX LTHR/ALC BLK LFT

• 00974ZNRDX – SEAT SPX LTHR/ALC BLK RT

• Retail Price $2,900

***Please note that there is a driver side (left) and passenger side (right) version of the seat, since there is a leather pull on the shoulder of the seat that releases the upper seat so you can fold them forward.***

  • Lightest carbon fiber reclining seat on the market
  • Gloss carbon fiber back rest
