When most enthusiasts think of BMW performance, they think of the 3-series because of performance versions like the M3. Likewise, most tuners create products for the 3-series because it’s a well-balanced package, but many of these tuners forget to give the larger BMWs any attention. With this new piggyback ECU tuner from Dinan, you can expect pretty big horsepower and torque gains all throughout the power-band. The tuner utilizes a myriad of inputs to achieve the increase in power but more importantly uses these extra inputs to deliver the smoothest experience possible. For the M550i you can expect power gains of around 50 horsepower and 55 ft-lbs. For the 750i you can expect power gains of around 60 horsepower and 75 ft-lbs. More importantly, there are big torque gains through the low and mid-range, making your BMW much more fun to drive on the street.
