Freeing up the air flow is important in any horsepower gains. We were going to do this, but decided on doing it above the standards. Welcome JIC titanium catback exhaust. This 3 inch catback bolts to the factory downpipe and fits perfect. Why titanium?
Well, to match up with our EVO, of course? The 12lb titanium exhaust saves a TON of weight and has a bling factor that sets it apart from the competiton. The price tag of around $1100 does deter people, but hey, we are building the best WRX in the USA, right?
The sound of the JIC is very impressive. With a deep rumble at idol, the catback is comfortable for daily driving. Including a silencer, the exhaust roars like a Porsche at full throttle. The angled exit gives it the aggressive JDM style.
Cost is a bit high, but JIC also offers a stainless version as well. The exhaust is a good base for freeing up air flow. It will bolt nicely up to our HKS turbo kit downpipe and if it is anything like our EVO exhaust, it should add some good power.
