Installing lights on your Jeep can sometimes be a big decision. This could mean cutting or drilling into the vehicle which virtually makes it a permanent install. Most owners do not want to drill holes in their roof for mounting lights, but what could possibly be a better solution?

Steinjager offers a light mounting bracket that bolts straight on to the lower windshield area. Utilizing existing factory 3/8″ threads, the 3/16″ thick steel plate mounts offer rigidity and a wobble-free mounting solution. Being that the lights are mounted right above the hood line, it makes for a versatile mounting point.

The additional benefit of this mounting position is allowing the light to cut through dust clouds. Having a light bar on the roof becomes useless when driving through a cloud of dirt. Mounting lights lower will reduce the amount of hood glare and help focus light on the ground.
