Now available in two brand-new profiles for 6-lug vehicles – Super Deep and Ultra Deep (in addition to Deep) – this wheel will completely transform the look of your ride. The Vossen HF6-4 is derived from its forged counterpart, the S21-01. It further expands the renowned brand’s HF Series to reach the truck and off-road market. The HF6-4 Hybrid Forged wheel boasts a sharp five Y-spoke design with an aggressive concave profile that delivers a striking aesthetic. The robotic custom HF program allows for personalized fitments and bolt patterns, specific to any 6-lug vehicle make or model. And as with all Vossen wheels, the HF6-4 includes a matching center cap with the brand’s logo to show you mean business.
Vossen is advancing the traditional casting process with its Hybrid Forged Series, of which the new HF6-4 wheel is a part. The Hybrid Forged method involves flow forming to cut down on weight and increase overall strength. Flow forming also allows for a wide range of wheel widths within each design. Step one, a cast wheel is mounted to the flow-forming drum, and heat is applied. Step two, hydraulic rollers stretch the wheel by applying pressure to the barrel. Step three, the wheel material is stretched and compressed to achieve the desired width. Step four, the barrel material is stretched to improve the grain structure of the aluminum. This makes for a stronger and lighter barrel, similar to that of a forged wheel, but less expensive.
