Magnuson Superchargers has just released their new Supercharger kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX570 that was produced from 2008-2021. Designed for the 5.7L V8 engine, this takes horsepower from 381 to nearly 550! The complete bolt on supercharger kit includes everything you need to install it including the tuning. For years owners of the Land Cruiser wondered how you could make this kit work and now you can.
Vivid Racing has done many of these supercharger kits on the shared engine from the Toyota Tundra. Even dyno testing them on our Mustang Dyno to prove out the gains. We had one on our very own 2017 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro which was a monster. Magnuson own test made 543 horsepower and 535 lb-ft of torque to the crank at just 7 psi, with significant gains across the entire RPM band. That’s usable power you can feel, whether you’re on the road or off. The roots style blower that mounts on top of the engine has instant torque and when combined with the V8 engine is great to improve towing. The supercharger gains its performance from an air to water intercooler setup mounted near the radiator. The superchargers are maintenance free and are backed by a 3 year 36000 mile warranty. 2008-2019 models are also CARB approved for those in California.
