Synapse Engineering has just announced that R35 V2 valve units are in stock and available to ship. They can be shipped as independent valves or in place of the BOV (SB001) or DV (DV001) in application-specific kits. See below for more information regarding the upgraded valves. Key features and changes of the R35 V2:
- Trident port design for maximum flow capability in the Synapse flange
- Designed for atmospheric discharge, MAP/Speed Density applications and computer-solenoid controlled OEM systems
- Interchangeable with both the BOV and DV using the common Synapse flange
- Lighter-weight piston geometry for faster actuation
- Larger pre-load adjuster assembly for improved durability (customers still need to loosen lock-nut prior to adjustment)
- New piston and pre-load spring perch geometry for more consistent spring and piston motion
