Takeda’s latest product offering is its Stainless Steel Axle-Back Exhaust for the 2014-2018 Mazda 3. This axle-back exhaust system is crafted from 2-1/2″ mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing. It is 100 percent MIG-welded for race-proven strength and durability. This system also features dual 4-1/2″ diameter black polished 304 stainless steel clamp-on exhaust tips at the end, which are laser-etched with the Takeda logo for added styling.

A mitered merge collector is used to reduce turbulence and increase exhaust velocity resulting in more horsepower and torque, as well as improved throttle response. On the dyno, the Takeda axle-back exhaust system for the Mazda 3 reported gains of up to 6.45 horsepower and 8.12 pound-feet of torque. What’s more, this system emits a deep and tantalizing exhaust note that is sure to please.

This Takeda axle-back system is a direct bolt-on system and utilizes a factory-style flange and hangers. It requires no cutting or modifications for installation. This is all thanks to state-of-the-art computer-aided design technology that results in a custom, high-tolerance factory fitment for your specific make and model of vehicle.
