Tanabe USA Releases new lowering springs for the Lexus NX200t, with style and comfort in mind.
One of the first aesthetic modifications people do to their vehicles is to install a set of after market wheels. Usually what comes next are a set of springs or coilovers to eliminate wheel gap and lower the center of gravity. Tanabe has released a new set of springs, which not only lowers the vehicle, but keeps the comfort level bearable. They do this by maintaining spring rates close to factory specifications. This allows users to have a great looking stance while maintaining daily drive-ability. With vehicles like the NX200t and similar CUV’s, the purpose is to have the comfort and styling of a SUV, with handling and characteristics of a performance sedan. Most people do not want their ride quality to suffer just because they lowered it on a set of aftermarket springs. The NF210 series creates this happy medium by using a somewhat conservative drop, but allowing shock and spring travel of a factory component.
