Increase Performance on your Turbo Charged Infiniti Q50/Q60
When trying to get performance increases out of a vehicle, the exhaust system is generally one of the first parts to be modified. When it comes to turbocharged vehicles, the downpipes, mid pipes and exhaust are some of the most important part of the equation. Minimizing back pressure allows for quicker turbo spool up and removing restrictions will help with top end power. The new 3.0t engine from Infiniti is a great power plant, but it gets even better when modified.
Tanabe has noticed these restrictions, so they have created two new exhaust parts for the 3.0t equipped Q50 / Q60 and 400 / Red sport variants. The first part is a replacement front pipe. This removes the restrictions closest to the turbocharger and is a “race” style delete. The next part is the mid pipe and it connects to directly to the front pipe. This offers high flow resonators and also has enlarged tubing to increase flow. Both of these combined will improve sound output and power levels dramatically.
