Just recently news had emerged that the SCG 003c had set a new Nurburgring lap record of 6:42, while we were hoping the first video footage of the $2.3 million dollar 530-hp Le Mans prototype would be not as depressing as it wiping out at 120 mph. The crash happened during the night qualifying last week and #40 Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 003 had to withdraw from the race, as the car was beyond repair. The driver Ken Dobson was piloting the SCG 003 at the time and was unhurt thankfully.
