It doesn’t get much better than that, does it? Well, it just did.

With some simple cuts and some finagling with the new X-Pipe into position, this can be secured to the stock system with the provided clamps or by welding the system together, in just a couple quick hours in the driveway with some proper beverages; making this a 3 out of 5 on our installation difficulty scale.
The upgraded sound from the Mustang Shelby GT350 with the Corsa Double Helixx X-Pipe is incredible. From the factory, the exhaust on the Ford has a fun and sporty sound, but in a stardown, the 5.2L Voodoo V8 can’t just walk-the-walk; but needs to talk-the-talk. This modification simply takes it to the next level; an extreme and aggressive level, as shown in our YouTube video below. The Corsa truly takes the spotlight when the values are open and breaching into the V8’s powerband in the neighborhood of an 8k RPM range. A notable feature is the tame but symphonic sound produced while the valves are closed. This gives the driver a comfortable ride when needed but the ability to open up the exhaust for an angry sound when desired. This is a great accommodation to have when pushing around the 5.2L V8, especially around the residential areas.
In conclusion, we couldn’t recommend the Corsa Double Helixx X-Pipe enough to someone who is looking for a significant modification at a friendly price; while taking on a simple install. This particular model of the Corsa Double Helixx X-Pipe is designed for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 5.2L V8 2016-2017. There is also a full Corsa Cat-Back system that includes the Corsa X-Pipe.
