With most all new cars coming with electronic throttle, the days of a cable connected to your gas pedal is gone. This means the manufacture can give you different “modes” in the car to make it feel faster or more economy like. One trick is with a sport button on normally aspirated engines, you feel a more sensitive throttle. What this sport button is doing is giving you 100% of your electronic throttle instead of just 70%. Well no every car comes with a sport mode and that lazy, non responsive gas pedal can become frustrating. So Vivid Racing’s VR Tuned now has these Power Pedal kits available that give you 3 positions of throttle enhancement or stock to use while driving. The simple module plugs into your electronic throttle gas pedal and has a button that can be nicely mounted for a OEM look on the interior. With this button you can select from being off, green for sensitive throttle, or red for most sensitive throttle. Having installed this in our Project Mini Countryman S, they sure do make a huge difference even when driving in sport mode. This is a very similar product to the Sprint Booster but a alternative from the VR Tuned brand.
