This is the first look at professional motorsports competitor and stunt driver Travis Pastrana’s Gymkhana STI with all of its livery. Travis is widely recognized for pushing the limits and Subaru did not disappoint when it got the chance to redefine what an STI could be. The result is, arguably, the most aggressive and wild Subaru Impreza WRX STI to date.

With the livery in place, the canards and diffusers on the STI immediately become more prominent. If we had to name anything else that catches the eyes, it’s definitely the bright yellow wheels. The custom finish on the Method 502 Rally Wheels greatly contrasts the livery on the car for an “in your face” look. The blacked-out part on the wheel will give off a nice highlight in videos that capture them spinning. The 502 wheels from Method are crafted from solid A356 aluminum that utilizes a special T6 heat treatment construction. They are also over-engineered to exceed SAE 2530 specifications. The icing on the cake? They will, in fact, clear your big Brembo brakes.

We also get to see a nice look into the STI’s interior and spy a few updates on the engine bay. While specs have not yet been released, this car did not have any types of restrictions like Travis Pastrana’s rally car did. The custom-fabricated Subaru boxer engine was made to his very own specs and, as you may imagine, was built to shred tires and expectations alike.
