The Range Rover Velar is arguably one of the best looking SUVs ever to be produced. It follows the same design language that began with the Range Rover Evoque and has since transferred to the Range Rover Sport. With such an elegant design, it’s important not to mess it up with a set of ugly aftermarket wheels. Vorsteiner recently installed a set of their popular V-FF 109 wheels on a Velar, and the result is quite good looking.
This new V-FF 109 wheel is Vorsteiner’s rendition of a modern 10-spoke wheel. It features relatively thin spokes with spoke cuts to help reduce weight and give it a unique design. Vorsteiner also worked on making the spoke run from the out lip all the way to the center of the wheel, which makes the wheel look like it has a larger diameter. Like all other Vorsteiner wheels, the V-FF 109 is designed to be very strong and hold up to anything you can throw at it. Strength is an important feature, as Range Rover’s are still considered excellent off-road vehicles and you wouldn’t want to compromise that with weak wheels.
These particular V-FF 109s are finished in Vorsteiner’s popular Carbon Graphite color, which blends in incredibly well with the black paint on this Velar. With a 22×9.5” size, the wheels fill in the wheel wells very well without being obnoxiously large or taking away from the design of the body.
