The Velossa Tech Design wide mouth kits have been a best seller for Ford Focus fans and there is a good reason why. They have an interesting method to creating more power via the intake system. Similar to BMW’s kidney scoops, they take a ram air approach to improve air flow to the engine. This item hooks up to the factory intake / airbox and directly to help force feed air into the intake.
The company has just announced their new GEN 3 design which has improved upon their outgoing model. The older models are still very similar and performance is identical, but this time around they have used improved materials. The GEN 3 also features a “nu-finish” which gives the material a smooth and uniform appearance after being 3d printed. This finish is now use on all Velossa Tech production items.
