Video: Do You Need Aftermarket Seats in Your UTV?

When you are out there on the trails, you will probably be spending hours in your Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV). After just one hour, you may feel as though your body is getting sore, especially the back. Fret not, as the aftermarket offers a plethora of seats that will keep you grounded, comfortable, and in control. A great set of seats could really make the world of a difference and will make you want to drive around even longer. If you are just a weekend rider who likes to cruise around, it is not critical because you will likely not be taking jumps or cornering hard. Those who want to get serious about racing, though, truly need an aftermarket seat in their vehicle so they can keep their body still in hard corners, braking, and accelerating. That being said, whether you are merely not satisfied with your current UTV seats or need to replace them because of wear and tear, Vivid Racing carries a wide selection of quality aftermarket seats for your UTV right here.

Shop All Aftermarket Seats Here

One thing is for sure when you are riding in a UTV, you really need to hang on for safety. And while the stock harnesses do a good job in keeping you still, your body still is not supported properly in terms of side and hip bolstering. In order to make a seat comfortable, there needs to be a lot of padding, and ease of entry/exit needs to be taken into consideration too. So while the seats may be easy to get into because of the lower hip bolstering, they do not have the proper support to keep you grounded when taking corners at high speeds. Sitting in a proper seat for racing will let you focus on more important things like the line you’re taking rather than trying to keep and shift your body in place.

In the video below, we go over whether you should replace your factory UTV seat or keep it, as well as the pros and cons of having an aftermarket set in your vehicle, and the types available. Whether it is for racing or casual trail riding purposes, an aftermarket seat can offer attractive benefits. Boasting customization, styling, and functionality, a proper bucket or bench seat can really transform your riding experience so you can enjoy your UTV to the ultimate level. Should you have any further questions or need help to decide which is right for you, feel free to reach out to us by phone at 1-480-966-3040 or via email at sales@vividracing.com.
