It’s a high-horsepower turbocharged beast with the versatility of being a daily driver and the means to tear up the track too. The R35 GTR boasts bold looks, thrilling performance, and noteworthy handling for an intuitive platform that makes it the unicorn of supercars. Just as fun as it is to drive, the Nissan R35 GTR is just as fun to modify, given the virtually endless options offered on the aftermarket. And while the GTR is already an incredible machine straight from the factory, it could still use a little bit more of something. We decided to take things to the next level here and install our very own VR Performance Valvetronic Exhaust on the R35 to give it the best sound possible while also increasing its performance capabilities.

VR Performance was on a mission to produce the best exhaust out there to appeal to the entire Nissan GTR market. To do this, we created this high-performance, quality system with variable exhaust sound and performance. The Vivid Racing muffler gives users the ability to control the performance and sound of the exhaust with the push of a button. Never again will car enthusiasts have to choose between a super aggressive exhaust and one that is a little more cruise-friendly. 

This system features valves that are mounted near the muffler to allow exhaust gases to either pass straight through for performance and a louder sound or be diverted into the muffler for a milder tone. It is constructed from 304 stainless steel and TIG welded to ensure a quality fit and durability that is a VR Performance standard. Capable of producing +50 whp with supporting mods, the Vivid Racing electronic valve controlled exhaust is a must-have for both the street and the track – especially on a car like the Nissan GTR. It really gives this vehicle the sound it deserves to have from the factory and one that is more in tune with its high-horsepower output.
