The new Porsche 992 Carrera engine is another marvel of the German marque. And although displacement remains unchanged at 3.0 liters, there are several upgrades that elevate the new 9A2 Evo engine well above that of the previous 991.2 model. The experts at IPD Plenum were fortunate enough to gain unlimited access to a Porsche 992 Carrera S during their extensive R&D and testing program. This unrestricted time frame proved to be invaluable and allowed IPD to really examine every engineering and design aspect of it in an effort to come out with the best performing plenum possible.

Like the rest of IPD’s lineup, the new Porsche 992 plenum is a product of efficiency that produces substantial gains in both horsepower and torque. This is due, in part, to its patented “Y” design that manages and delivers optimized airflow for enhanced engine performance. The plenum has been proven to deliver generous net performance gains across both power bands and is guaranteed to elevate the driving experience for Carrera drivers everywhere.

The 992 plenum from IPD transforms the already visceral Porsche Carrera driving experience. It promises to deliver 25+ wheel horsepower and 30+ wheel torque (at 6200 RPMs), with net gains being realized throughout the power curves. That’s because this plenum dramatically reduces initial turbo lag down low to help access power and torque sooner. The bulk of the power gains is realized from 4000 RPMs to redline, where it is needed and certainly enjoyed the most. The short video below highlights the main features and benefits associated with the new IPD 992 plenum and explains why it is the single best performance upgrade you can install on any late-model Carrera. After all, it has been said and proven that these products provide the best power per dollar return in the Porsche aftermarket industry today.
