For our latest adventure, Vivid Racing drove 400 miles to Los Angeles, California to hook up Fabio’s (yes, the Fabio) 2019 Porsche 991 GT2RS with the Weissach Package. While Fabio himself needs no introduction, some of you may not be familiar with the fact that he is quite the gear head and an avid Porsche enthusiast at that. So after hours of driving (and a night of rest, of course), the Vivid Racing team finally arrived in California with the goal of upgrading Fabio’s gorgeous Guards Red GT2RS with a brand-new exhaust and VR tune to go along with it. Long story short, the results were nothing less than spectacular and Fabio’s 991 GT2RS jumped to 800 horses in the blink of an eye. And while the Vivid Racing team was certainly thrilled with the sound and power of this transformation, the man of the hour was all the more impressed.

The meeting spot was at Pirelli P Zero World in Santa Monica, which is owned by Claus Ettensberger of CEC Wheels. There, we gave Fabio a closer look at the parts we were going to install on his ride before putting it on the lift. The star of the show was the world-renowned FI Exhaust turbo-back Valvetronic system that works with the factory valves and delivers a remarkable soundtrack without any backpressure. And when enhancing performance, it’s always a good idea to flash the ECU for the ultimate performance benefits; so we went with the coveted VR Tuned package to get the most out of Fabio’s GT2RS and really push out some serious power figures.
