We here at Vivid Racing installed the TVS1900 Supercharger on the third-generation Tacoma TRD and then took it out for a ride to see just how it feels to drive the off-roader with a hundred additional horses.
Magnuson’s team of expert engineers have created a truly remarkable product through carefully matching a TVS1900 supercharger to operate in its peak thermal efficiency zone for the entire engine duty cycle. The highly efficient TVS1900 Supercharger delivers 370+ horsepower and 330+ pound-feet of torque at the crank, equivalent to ~308 rear-wheel horsepower and ~275 pound-feet of rear-wheel torque! Those numbers translate to more than a 32 percent increase in overall power over the Toyota Tacoma’s stock 3.5-liter V6 engine. That means that the 2016-2020 Tacoma, when equipped with the Magnuson Supercharger System, will deliver V8 levels of power at a more affordable price point.
