This BMW F80 M3 was outfitted with the new Agency Power Aeroform Carbon Fiber Front Lip, Side Skirt Extensions & Rear Diffuser, giving the F80 a more aggressive look over stock. To carry out that menacing look the choice of wheels and fitment had to be on point. So a set of 18×9.5 +22 and 18×11 + 34 Volk Racing TE37 RT wheels (Black Diamond) were chosen. Next the M3 was lowered using the H.A.S (Height Adjustable Springs from KW Suspension. This kit optimizes the dynamic performance and the steering behavior, while retaining the BMW’s factory Electronic Dampening Control (EDC).
Now that the M3 had a whole new look and was handling like a dream, it was time to turn the focus onto the M3’s S55’s 3.0L power plant. First plan of a attack was to insuring the engine would be fed plenty of fresh cool air. The factory air boxes were tossed and a Cold Air Intake kit from Agency Power took its place. After that an Evolution of Speed Bar & Plate Air/Water Intercooler came into play. This would help maintain our air temps run after run, especially during our hot Arizona summers. The Evolution of Speed F8x Intercooler is 50% larger than OEM and is direct plug & play making the install a breeze.
When it came to the exhaust things were kept simple. A set of Vorsteiner Diamond Black 90MM Exhaust tips were added and Agency Power High-Flow Downpipes were installed to aid performance. The free flowing design of the downpipes helped reduced the exhaust back-pressure, allowing the turbo-chargers to spool up faster. The result was instant power off and a deep throaty exhaust note that sounded incredibly lively under throttle. Lastly the the ECU was flashed with a VR Tuned ECU Flash. This dramatically improved performance, giving the M3 a gain of 50whp and 70ft/lbs of torque!
