Wanting to have a sedan (or as the other guys call it, saloon) that is stylish and makes a ton of power, the BMW M5 is hands down a great choice. With the new V8 Twin Turbo BMW F10 due to be on the streets shortly, the E60 BMW M5 is still a great option. The monsterous V10 engine glides along the highway with its 7speed SMG tranny. When you down shift with the paddles, the M mode blips the throttle and a roar begins. But like most cars, they need just a tweak more to look, sit, and sound more aggressive. This customers BMW M5 is no different.
Coming to Vivid Racing here in Gilbert, AZ, we started with the stance. This car was first lowered with a set of H&R springs. These springs maintain the awesome EDC functionality for daily use. The wheels were upgraded with a set of HRE P40 monoblock wheels. The 20×9.5 and 20×10.5 textured black wheels were the ticket. 1pc forged, they are very lightweight at around 24lbs front and 28lbs rear. The wheels were wrapped in some Hankook Ventus V12 tires which were a 255/35 and a 285/30. Even though the wheels are built to sit more aggressive then stock, we still added H&R 10mm spacers on the front and rear to give it a fully flushed look. Under the hood we added a aFe cold air intake and then finished the cars sound with an Agency Power valvetronic exhaust.
