Volk Racing is pleased to announce the debut of its all-new ZE40 Time Attack III wheel. Based on the second-generation model, Volk Racing adopted a new rim profile and a major review of all areas to build this new, limited-edition model to the ZE40 wheel lineup. Seven years since the launch of the original ZE40, while making use of the brand’s advanced analysis technology, the design was updated for added strength and weight reduction. Instead of just shaving off the weight, Volk Racing completely reinforced the wheel structure. After a thorough investigation with Volk Racing’s very own analysis technology, the team successfully achieved a weight reduction of 200 grams for the ZE40. Paying homage to the ZE40’s favored characteristics (including the Dark Blue Gunmetal Color), a Metallic Blue/Matte Black Clear Color has been adopted for this limited-run model.

- Kit Includes: Air valve is included, center caps are available to purchase separately. This wheel is made in-house in Japan featuring a forged one-piece monoblock construction.
- Metallic blue/matte black clear: This color is reminiscent of the Matte Blue Gunmetal which drew a lot of attention at the 2014 Nürburgring test of the ZE40. The use of a matte black clear finish not only creates a stylish look overall, but it also gives the center DC section a more elegant texture.
- Rim strobe lines: RAYS original patented A.M.T. (Advanced Machining Technology) strobe lines are adopted to give a distinctive character to the wheel. This process creates a unique line while the wheel is spinning, both creating an attractive appeal while also contributing to the weight reduction of the outer peripheral part.
- Center DC: One of the key features of the ZE40TA III is the center DC. This significantly contributes to weight reduction and gives the wheel an eye-catching and impactful design.
- Spoke cross-sectional shape: The traditional ZE40 spoke shape; this shape assists in minimizing weight, while adding strength to the spokes.
