The 2.0L turbo on the MK6 Volkswagen GTI is an awesome power plant and only gets better with more boost. If you dont mind the occasional torque steer from a increase of 60 horsepower that we gave the car, then you will be all smiles. This GTI came to our Gilbert, Arizona facility where we installed our Agency Power catback exhaust, a Milltek high flow cat downpipe, and the VR Tuned ECU Tuning Box Kit. Instead of a traditional ECU flash, this customer opted for the plug and play Tuning Box Kit which allows for easy install and removal while still adding 40 horsepower over stock. Working off factory boost, pressure, and cam signals, the tuning box can be custom tuned or installed with the preset map.
The turboback exhaust setup also adds a huge amount of horsepower to the car. The Tuning Box is wanting to deliver more power but the factory cat and restrictive piping diameter keeps the car from its potential.
