Wheel Fitment Guide for Tesla Vehicles

Whichever Tesla model you have, we can’t deny that these cars are superb and beautiful. Their specs and features and the interior and exterior design are outstanding. But sometimes, we can’t stop ourselves from personalizing our car to be distinguished as ours, or it shows us on it. And our favorite is changing its wheels to something more.

That is why we’ve created this list of wheel fitments that are perfect for your Tesla Model.

Quick History

Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning founded Tesla Motors, Inc. in July 2003 with a Series A investment of $7.5 million made in February 2004 by the business. Elon Musk was elected chairman of Tesla’s board of directors and the company’s most significant stakeholder. Musk had a substantial role in the firm, supervising the Roadster’s design in great detail, although he was not heavily engaged in the company’s day-to-day operations. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that the company’s long-term objective is to produce electric automobiles that are affordable to the general public. The company planned to start with a high-end sports car for early adopters and expand into more popular models.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that the company’s long-term objective is to produce electric automobiles that are affordable to the general public. The company planned to start with a high-end sports car for early adopters and expand into more popular models.

Global Expansion from 2019 to present

When it came to day-to-day operations at Tesla, Musk had a more hands-off approach. He participated in company meetings and made decisions on the Roadster design. When asked about his long-term plans for Tesla, Musk said he wanted to make electric cars accessible to the whole public. Early adopters were the target market for the company’s luxury sports automobile before expanding into more popular models.

The first-generation Tesla Roadster, Tesla’s first automobile, is no longer available for purchase. Second-generation Roadster, semi-truck, and Cybertruck are all in the works for Tesla.

In Production

Model S

The Model S is a five-door liftback sedan that initially arrived at customers on June 22, 2012. In September, it became the first all-electric vehicle to top the sales rankings in Norway. In 2015 and 2016, it was the most popular plug-in electric vehicle globally.

Model X

The Tesla Model X is a midsize crossover SUV that belongs to the Tesla lineup. It is available in three distinct passenger capacities: five, six, and seven. The full-size sedan chassis of the Model S served as the basis for the Model X. To make use of an articulating “falcon-wing” frame, the rear passenger doors open vertically.

Model 3

Unlike the Model S, the Model 3 comes standard with four doors. On March 31, 2016, Tesla debuted the Model 3 at an event in San Francisco. July 2017 was a milestone year for automobile manufacturing.

Model Y

The Model Y is a small crossover utility vehicle. The vehicle can seat up to seven passengers and has a payload capacity of 68 cubic feet (1.9 m3). Starting on March 13, 2020, deliveries of the Model Y will be available to customers.

Supercharger Network

Tesla has more than 20,000 Superchargers in more than 2,100 locations throughout the world, each of which can offer up to 250 kW of power using direct current (DC) technology. Tesla has more than 20,000 Superchargers spread over the world. Supercharging was provided at no cost to Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles owners who purchased them before January 15, 2017. The navigation software in Tesla autos may provide the most efficient path for long-distance trips.

Destination Tesla began offering charging stations in 2014, and they have been more popular. The network provides on-site auto charging at the spot with double the power of a typical home charging station and a lower cost. In-car navigation systems display the costs associated with each location.

Over-the-air software and firmware updates are available for Tesla cars whenever new software and firmware versions are available. That way, customers can rest assured that their vehicles are always current and will continue to improve long after they’ve bought them. It is possible to add a basic Autopilot and Full Self Driving and acceleration boost and rear heated seats.

Connectivity

All Tesla vehicles are equipped with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth technology as part of the “Standard Connectivity” option, which enables them to stream music, video, and “karaoke,” as well as connect to the internet. Aside from that, Premium Connectivity offers mobile access, real-time traffic information, and satellite maps for navigation purposes.

Vehicle Servicing

First and foremost, Tesla’s service plan is to use remote diagnostics and repairs to maintain its cars. Customers are routed to a Tesla-owned service facility or a mobile technician if they cannot resolve an issue remotely. Tesla has said that it does not profit from its car maintenance.

Vehicle Batteries

Too far, Tesla is the only carmaker to employ thousands of tiny cylindrical, lithium-ion commodity cells like those often seen in consumer gadgets. To reduce manufacturing costs and weight, Tesla utilizes a variant of these cells that removes several safety features. Under the vehicle’s floor, the batteries are vulnerable to damage from debris or accident.

In a nutshell

As a result of using aftermarket wheels, you may not be getting an accurate reading from the speedometer on your Tesla Model S, X, 3, or Y. In some countries, you may even face a financial penalty if you commit a crime.
