We thought what better way to celebrate Memorial Day and say thank you to our military, then to look at some great wheel setups. We gave you a sneak preview of these last week. This Porsche 997TT looks like it gets pulled over a lot. This beautiful piece of machinery would stand out in a sea of red. The 997TT is lustrous already, but slapping these 20″, flush, CV13’s on it, is the perfect way to accentuate the legendary shape of the 997TT. The front are 20 x 9 and set with a shallow concave, the back are 20 x 13 and have a deep concave to give that depth and alacrity to the look.
The next set of sexy D2 Forged wheels are on a sleek, all black, Audi A7. This Audi owner got these as, what he calls, a “true homage to the ‘Dark Knight.'” The rim of the 22″ CV2’s give a futuristic feel and all together it’s the perfect combination of fitment, color selection and design.
The next car is one loved all over the world. The Audi RS6 Avant. The unassuming hatchback is actually a beast on the road. By looking at it you would think Audi fell asleep on the design. That is until, you meet one of these cars on the road. When you’re being smoked by the “soccer mom” looking car, don’t be surprised it’s a brainchild of Audi. D2 Forged claims this is one of the crazier projects they’ve worked on. We think the Monoblock MB1’s give this sleeper the credibility, that the overall design lacks. What do you think?
