Many people wonder, when is a good time to upgrade my radiator? Well, anytime is a good time to upgrade your radiator. The radiator is a crucial part in any vehicle cooling system, it keeps the heart of your ride running at a healthy temperature. The fact of the matter is, whenever it fails, it is a prime time to upgrade it if you can’t justify upgrading, “just because”. You will already have to remove the radiator from the car to replace it and aftermarket (performance) radiators cool your engine more efficiently than any OEM radiator ever could. With more cores, and sometimes more surface area equals more room for the coolant running through the radiator to cool down with maximum efficiency. Therefore leaving you with a brand new radiator that will probably have a longer lifespan than the OEM, but also an upgraded cooling system that can cool your engine with premiere efficiency. Which equates to a potential longer engine lifespan given that the engine will be running at peak cooling efficiency. So whether it is Mishimoto, Blitz Racing, CSF Radiators or many others, remember, anytime is a good time to upgrade that radiator!
