IPD Plenums have been around for years serving the Porsche community.  Having applications for most vehicles like the 996 Carrera, 997 Turbo, Cayenne Turbo, Cayman/Boxster, and others, they cover all generations from 2000 to current.  The product is designed as an OEM replacement to the factory “T-Pipe” and throttlebody.  IPD’s patented design works with the stock throttlebody to improve air flow to the boxxer style engine funneling air to each bank equally.  For some applications, IPD uses a different flange so you can run a larger throttlebody.  Usually this is going with the OEM 997 GT3 unit which is 82mm in diameter.  Some cars require extra tuning to run this setup effectively.  So the question is, “Why would you add an IPD Plenum to your Porsche?”  Simple answer, more horsepower, more efficiency.  IPD’s Greg stands in front of the camera to tell us how and why these IPD kits are the cats pajamas.  Vivid Racing supports the IPD Plenum products and has the Porsche experience to back it up.
