BMR Suspension Bearing Kit, Lower Control Arm, Rear Ford Mustang 2015-2022

Minimize wheelhop and enhance the rear stability of your 2015 and newer S550 Mustang by eliminating rear lower control arm bushing deflection with a set of Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearings from BMR Suspension. The stock rubber bushings are great for absorbing NVH, but do little for performance. The large spherical bearings in BMRs rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearing Kit simply eliminate bushing deflection, transferring power instead of absorbing it. BMR Suspensions rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings (BK055) drastically decreases lower control arm movement by eliminating deflection of the factory rubber bushings. BMR uses heavy-duty 1-inch spherical bearings in machined bearing cups to replace the factory rubber bushings. The cup and bearing press into the lower control arm and are held in place with heavy-duty snap rings. CNC-machined billet aluminum spacers complete the assembly. This allows for a perfect fit and increased performance for any driving style.

The OE bushings are designed with air pockets and are made from soft rubber. These “voids”, coupled with soft material produce excessive lower control arm movement during normal and aggressive driving. BMR’s Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings kit installs in place of the OE rubber bushing, nearly eliminating lower control arm movement by solidly linking the rear portion of the lower control arm to the cradle. This eliminates almost all lower control arm movement, reducing wheelhop and increases handling stability, while giving you a much improved overall feel in any performance driving situation.
