The Form Concave is part of their agForged family of wheels. Form Concave wheels utilize Aerospace Grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum to optimize the strength-to-weight ratio of each wheel. Configuration options are limitless. Custom catered to you, achieve the look and fitment without any compromises. Each ag Forged wheel is engineered and manufactured with individualized concave center profiles in order to balance optimal brake caliper clearance and lip size. This allows for configurations that are compatible with everything from standard OEM brakes to aftermarket brake kits to ceramic brake kits.

In order to maintain the highest possible quality, Avant Garde uses the latest in computer-aided engineering and testing when it comes to creating all their wheels. Through using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), they are able to conduct comprehensive testing methods to ensure the strength and durability of their wheels. FEA allows accurate analysis of where the wheel may be bent or twisted and shows the distribution of tension and displacement. It enables all projects to be designed, refined and developed before any development takes place.

Advanced Rim Technology

Avant Garde’s newest Advanced Rim Technology (A.R.T.) is the latest manufacturing process that incorporates traditional monoblock wheel casting methods with spin forming technology to drastically improve the material properties and enhances the overall strength of our wheels.

The A.R.T. process impacts the micro-structure of aluminum by utilizing three hydraulic rollers to apply pressure to form the inner rim area after the wheel has been casted. The rollers move down the barrel, applying pressures to stretch, compress, and form the entire wheel barrel, ultimately increasing the tensile strength and elongation properties.

The end product is a lighter, stronger wheel that has an increased load capacity and shock resistance over the traditional cast aluminum wheel. A.R.T. provides up to a 25% weight reduction compared to a traditional cast wheel.
