The PF01 is not your ordinary split 5-spoke wheel.
Sure, it might look like any run-of-the-mill split 5-spoke wheel but knowing what Enkei does, the PF01 is engineered using the highest design technology available to man and produced using their state of the art manufacturing technology. Like Enkei would have it any other way.
The PF01 is available in 15, 16, 17, and 18 inches to accommodate many cars because this wheel is so beautifully simple, you might want to put in under anything. It is also available in many color finishes and it has that dark blue hue as a special order.
Made with Enkei’s MAT technology, the PF01 is a light, racer-friendly wheel with plenty of clearance for large brake calipers.
The Most Advanced Technology combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. Using this technique of casting and rim forming is critical to improving the material property and strength of the wheels. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation without sacrificing the wheels’ hardness.
Utilizing Enkei’s MAT flow-forming technology, the PF01 is designed to be an ultra-lightweight wheel. The PF01 is engineered to take Enkei’s light-weight racing wheel line to the next level. PF01’s split five-spoke design represents its lightness and sporty feel. The subtle edge on the sides of the spokes adds a unique dimensional accent to its design.
The PF01 is engineered to pass rigorous testing. Enkei established their own test standard called “Spec-E,” which is tougher than JWL requirements. Enkei’s Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL standards.
