The Ventus V12 evo2 (K120) is Hankook's Max Performance Summer tire designed for sports car drivers, sporty coupes, and high-performance sedans who want to show their personality and style. Crafted to provide impressive traction and handling, the Ventus V12 evo2 tires offer comfort and stability under warm, dry, and wet road conditions. However, like all summer tires, they are not meant to be powered by near-freezing temperatures, snow, or ice.
The Ventus V12 Evo2 radial high-grip silica tread compound features an advanced functionalized styrene polymer that decreases tire rolling resistance to increase vehicle fuel economy without giving up dry and wet traction. This compound is formed into a directional treadmill shape featuring nested shoulders and 3D intermediate ribs flanking a continuous middle rim to facilitate dry handling and traction. Circumferential and aqua jet side grooves facilitate effective water removal from the middle of the tire touch patch to improve hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. The grooves in the middle blocks feature stealth technology and a unique wingtip design that reduces noise.

The tire's inner framework consists of two wide steel belts reinforced by two spirally wrapped nylon joints. High rigidity bead fillers sandwich hard rubber between the sides of the polyester cord casing fold to enhance handling reaction by avoiding distortion at high speeds and cornering.
