Power Slot recognizes that great brakes need to look as good as they perform. Performance wheels and tires are best complemented with Power Slot Cryo Sloted Rotors.

Every Cryo brake rotor is produced from a high quality Centric Parts blank casting and finished in a durable e-coating for corrosion resistance. Cryo slotted brake rotors (prefix 127) prevent glazing of the pads, add bite and improve wet and dry braking performance.

Every Cryo rotor is finished with black e-coating on both sides of the hat, inside the the cooling vanes, and on the outside edge. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. This is especially important on both mounting faces of the hat where it touches the hub flange and back face of the wheel. Any accumulation of rust in these area can lead to installed lateral run out issues.

Power Alloy metallurgy is exclusive feature of Power Slot and Cryo rotors. In specific vehicle applications, Power Slot works with foundry partners to increase the molybdenum or carbon content of the castings, and to carefully control the cooling rate during production to reach targets for hardness and tensile strength.

Power Slot rotors feature a signature "short slot" design. The slot improves brake system performance by wiping away the debris of used friction material that otherwise accumulates between the rotor and pad. This keeps fresh pad material exposed to the rotor surface and helps prevent pad glazing. The edges sweeping the pad slightly increase the effective coefficient of friction, or ?bite,? amplifying brake system response to pedal input. By providing an escape path for water, slotted rotors can also improve initial brake response under wet conditions.

    "I drive a 2009 e92 M3. It was completely stock, and ran the 19" RE-11s. A few months ago, I started tracking the car at Thunderhill and Laguna Seca. The first day, I realized that stock pads performed poorly, so I upgraded to Carbotech XP-10s. At my second track day, wore the Carbotech pads down to the rivets, and got the brakes so hot that I actually melted a brake line where it attaches to the front caliper. After putting ss lines on, I upgraded to the XP-12s. I was to try them out my first go at Laguna weekend event. The first day was great--really loved the performance. But I noticed early the second day that the pads were toast, down to the rivets. The RE-11s were wearing (they have about 30K miles on them), and I wanted to upgrade to an R-compound tire. Not too many options for 19s, so I opted for the 18" Volk Racing TE37SLs, and went 9.5 and 10.5, with +22mm and +20mm offsets. I paired them up with Toyo Proxes R888s, with 265/35/18 97Y RD in the front and 295/30/18 98Y RD in the rear. The wheels and tires fit the car without any problem or mods (no cutting)--indeed, I probably could have gone 305s. I also upgraded to Pagid 19s (tho I left the Carbotech XP-12s on the rear). I tried everything out at Thunderhill last weekend. There was a lot of rain, and so both mornings were very wet--and slick on the new tires. But the afternoons were ideal, especially Sunday. I still need to work on dialing in the tire pressures, but the grip was phenominal, especially on the wide sweepers (Turn 2 and Turn 3). I could easily handle Turn 2 in 4th gear, and there seemed to be no end to the lateral grip. Harry's Lap Timer was measuring well beyond 1.0 g in that corner. More importantly, the car felt very balanced. I only experienced a tiny bit of oversteer in Turn 11, but that is because the track was green and I was very early onto the power. The Pagids seemed to wear much better than the Carbotechs (I was able to drive two days without getting into the rivets), but they don't have the same feel. I tend to brake pretty hard, and the M3 is a very heavy car. It seemed like the brakes weren't frequently at the right temp--either too hot or too cold, and thus warranted less confidence. Part of this was due to the track/weather conditions. But there were a couple of times coming hard down the back straight into Turn 14 where I wondered if the car would slow enough for the turn. I probably need to put Pagids on the rear, and hit the track again. The guys at Vivid really took care of me, especially Ahmed. Since all of this is new to me, I have a million questions. He was always very responsive and provided me with the information I needed to make the right decisions. I am really happy with the entire setup, and would recommend Vivid without hesitation."

    "VRTuned ECU Flash Cable and Durametric Tool 1 VIN ALL Models Car used on: 2006 Porsche C2S Experience: Excellent. After installing drivers, plugging cable into Win7 x64 laptop worked immediately without fail. Connecting to the car was also easy, snapped right on. Great thing is that it is vertical, and it doesn't come out easily, you would have to do a poor connection job or not be paying attention. Doing a solid snap-in and paying attention to it assures it wont pull out easily, it typically stays connected well. I used it to flash my ECU, everything went as planned, no issues. Excellent product, no negatives to report here."

    "Hi, I just wanted to write that K&N air filters in my opion are the greatest air filters on the market today. It does its job the way its advertized.248,000 miles on my old engine this stock intake with a direct fit stock K&N air filter.with my new engine I still could have gone another 248,000 miles with this air filter.All cleaned up and oiled it still looks and cleans the air like a bought it today .Very easy to clean & oil with their inexpencive kit.Just follow the instructions on the box. The kit has lasted a 6 years and I still have some left with regular yearly cleaning. I have sold it for $10.00 less than i paid for it.Since bought a new intake system I needed one to fit the new piping.The air filter that came with the new intake looked great but was nothing more than a leaf /bug catcher. It was just wire surated mesh,no filter.I was not about to install their sub-standard filter.Anyways, Thank you very much for the new K&N air filter to fit my new intake system. PS, I didn't know ahaed of time ,but someone had to be home to sign for it the day it did not leave it.I had to call fed-ex to arange pick it up at my nearest fed-ex.Not a big deal but it's nice to know ahead of time."
