Volk TE37 Gravel Wheels

TE37 Gravel | The Concept is Racing … in the dirt

In the world of aftermarket racing rims, perhaps the most popular is the Volk TE37.

You can say that the simplistic, iconic 6-spoke design is responsible for its popularity. But, no.

The truth is, the TE37 is famous because of how it is constructed. A lot of wheels are cast. A handful of aftermarket wheels are machine forged, but the TE37 is formed using a unique method called mold-form forging. Technically, the mold-form forging process creates the shape of the wheel during the forging process. By creating the shape of the wheel during the forging process, the grain of the metal flows with the shape of the wheel, resulting in much greater strength.

Rally is a form of racing and because of its harsh environments, the strength of the wheel is also tested.

Which is why Volk Racing developed the TE37 Gravel, a wheel to hit the dirt and be a lightweight and strong wheel to take your car to the next level.

The TE37 Gravel specializes in rally and dirt trial competition. The shape of the rim and overall structure has been adapted to account for competition with use of gravel tires.

Because you need the lightest possible wheels to traverse dirt roads, the TE37 Gravel is available in teensy 14- and 15-inch diameters only.

As a testament to Volk’s racing pedigree, they are used by race teams from Nissan, Honda, Toyota, and Mazda in iconic events like Super GT, Japanese Touring Car Championship (JTCC), British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), Formula Nippon, Formula D and, in this particular case, WRC.

The beauty of the simple 6-spoke design is even more highlighted in the color finish of the wheel. You can have the TE37 Gravel in any color you want as long as it’s white.
