Why should I install Volk ZE40 Time Attack wheels?

Just like all Time Attack wheels, the ZE40 Time Attack has a red pinstripe on an only black wheel.  Each of the ZE40 Time Attack’s 10 spokes feature an aesthetic finish that also helps reduce weight. Those spokes will also feature 4 different concave profiles depending on width and offset of the ZE40 Time Attack wheel you choose. 

The center of the ZE40 Time Attack incorporates a new overhang design for strength and looks. Detail touches on the Volk Racing ZE40 Time Attack include machined logos and black high-speed air valves. The ZE40 Time Attack barrel includes the anti-slip bead knurling learned from Formula 1 competition wheels.

Like all Volk Racing wheels, part of the ZE40’s popularity comes from their incredibly unique construction method. The base material used to construct a ZE40 Time Attack wheel is Rays Engineering's special A6061-T6 blend is 100% aluminum. Most aluminum wheels are only 80% aluminum. 

The special 100% aluminum blend makes the material lighter and stronger, allowing the wheel to resist deformation under heavy loads such as rough roads or high g-force corning on a race track. The special blend also helps with thermal conductivity, ultimately helping your brakes stay within their ideal operating temperature on track.

The ZE40 Time Attack is available in any color so long as its black with a red pinstripe. It is available in 17 and 18 inch diameters.
